What is EMDR?

EMDR can be invaluable to growth. After engaging in more traditional therapy, many people find they are still “stuck” in lifelong patterns. My approach to this is to utilize attachment-based EMDR to find what that innate negative belief is within you so you can change it to a more compassionate belief that will impact your self-image, relationships, anxiety and depression.

I also use EMDR to address complex trauma and help you create the feeling of safety and control you may have been craving for much of your life. Your past may have contributed to who you are, but it does not have to define who you will become.

What is ART?

Much like EMDR, ART can be equally invaluable in helping you jump hurdles traditional therapy may not have conquered. ART focuses on a more specific memory or problem that is creating barriers and disturbances in your day to day life and relationships. It utilizes body sensations and imagery to learn to minimize your mental and physical reactions to a memory so that you are no longer as impacted by triggers surrounding the memory.
